Welcome to the Green Schools Advocacy Committee!

WHAT'S HAPPENING:

GREEN[REN]OVATION - Davis Magnet School Greenovation Report
A technical and psychological assessment of energy & health in the classroom at the Davis Magnet School

A special thanks to all of our green apple day of service volunteers! You made this project a success and we look forward to accomplishing even more in 2014.

ABOUT US:

The Green Schools Advocacy Committee is part of a broad-based green schools campaign with the hope that in a generation every child in America will attend a Green School.  A Green School serves as a teaching tool - demonstrating to students, faculty, and parents practical ways that we can create healthier, more efficient, less costly learning environments.

TAKE ACTION Our success is based on sharing this message – and this is where we need your help:
  1. If you’re a parent:  don’t assume.  Pick up the phone.  Call your school board.  Ask questions.
  2. If you’re a school district or private institution – contact us.  Invite our   committee volunteers to come and present the benefits.
  3. Involve the students.  Create student advocacy programs to ensure that green policies are followed during the school day.
  4. Take the Pledge. Go to www.buildgreenschools.org
